- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆June 27, 2020, by Ali HallThe guys that came to clean the stove pipe were friendly. That's why the 2 stars. They laid down a large blanket in front of the stove to help contain mess. After they left there was a layer of black soot on everything. Our feet were black, counters, furniture, everything. Also, today, two days after their visit, I lit a fire and smoke came out of every pipe connection and the damper. Our whole house filled with smoke no matter what I did to make a draft. I finally had to pour a bunch of water to put it out and have all the doors open with fans blowing to air out the house. I'm NOT happy. The stove worked fine before their visit. I'll be calling them Monday to see what they have to say about it.
